Development Approval has been granted for the ‘Driftwood Apartments’ (click here to see Project Sheet) development at 34 Bourke Street, Blacks Beach, Queensland.
This is the first development of this scale within the Blacks Beach area. Highgate worked collaboratively with Mackay Regional Council to optimise the outcome for the site.
Highgate Management was instrumental in planning and managing the preparation of the concept design and subsequent development application documentation for the project.
The development consent from Mackay Regional Council allows for the construction of 69 units across 3 buildings, one at 4 levels and two 5 levels, plus extensive landscaping and resort style communal facilities including pool and bbq area fronting Blacks Beach in Mackay, Queensland.
Highgate Management is providing development and project management services for the delivery of the development, expected to complete in late 2014.
