$368m new general hospital. Demolition, engineering services diversions and connections, site preparation, construction of a New 11 storey “Main Building Tower” with circa 35,000m2 of new build GFA floor space plus circa 9,000m2 of refurbished GFA floor space, with a new roof top helipad, plus significant external civil (internal roads and drop offs, including the upgrade of the Racecourse Road and Hospital Road intersection) and various landscaping works (including courtyards, hard and soft landscaping)

Highgate’s role: Project Director responsible for the procurement of the Main Contractor under an Early Contractor engagement approach to obtain early input from the building contractor on the developing design leading to improved buildability of the completed documentation and reduced risk of variations during construction and better quality of the end product.
